Master Class : Skip Sempé & Pierre Hantaï
20 – 23 October 2014 the Piccola Accademia di Montisi will return to Rome with a special 4 day Master Class, in co-production with the Villa Medici / Académie de France a Rome and Capriccio Stravagante.
The course is free of tuition fees to eligible students. However a non-refundable €110 registration fee is required for the course.
To qualify, students must be presently enrolled in a university level music study or be recently graduated.
Master Class information
The Master Classes at the Villa Medici / Académie de France a Rome will begin on 20 October at 10.00 and end on 23 October at 19.00.
The Master Classes will take place daily from 10.00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19.00.
The Master Class will be limited to 8 students.
The Master Classes will be given on:
- A Double manual harpsichord after Couchet 1650, by Bruce Kennedy, 2008, on loan from the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi
- A Double manual harpsichord after Blanchet 1730, by Bruce Kennedy, 2011, on loan from the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi
- A Double manual harpsichord after Mietke by Bruce Kennedy, on loan from the collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi
Repertoire – Open program, with an accent on repertoire from 1650 – 1750.
