The Piccola Accademia di Montisi will return to Rome with a special 4 day Master Class, in co-production with the Villa Medici / Académie de France à Rome and Capriccio Stravagante
The course is free of tuition fees to eligible students. However a non-refundable €80 registration fee is required for the course.
To qualify, students must be presently enrolled in a university level music study or be recently graduated.
Master Class information
The Master Classes at the Villa Medici / Académie de France à Rome will begin on 5 November at 10.00 and end on 8 November at 18.00. Students are expected to arrive on the afternoon of 4 November and to gather for dinner near the Villa on that evening.
The Master Classes will take place daily from 10.00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 18.00.
The Master Class will be limited to 8 students.
The Master Classes will be given on:
A double manual harpsichord after Couchet, by Bruce Kennedy, on loan from the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi.
A Flemish virginal after Ruckers by Martin Skowroneck, on loan from the Collection of the Piccola Accademia di Montisi.
